china. i miss you

oks..just been ordered to post :p kidding..china trip was fun!!and really a learning experience for me :) 1st major activity : concert!! -30th march- preparation was very rush.. 2 nights before we left for beijing, i was translating.. english to chinese.. oks.. didn't rehearse my part at all lar.. learnt to work with the beijing students.. not that they have a lot of experience with concerts.. they are truly GREEN!! the tickets to the concert is 2 used batteries or 2 plastic bottles!! oks..then rehearsal with them is like taking turns to use the stage with no full run through, no rehearsal with the sound and lighting people.. hahas.. yups.. 2nd major event : homestay!! -31st march- brought the girl out.. instead of her bringing us around beijing.. it's alright.. her parents belong to the working class.. so basically their family not very well off lor.. yups.. their house was a shock to me.. didn't expect it.. but they are really really nice.. the dad had to stay out of the house that night cos no space.. 3rd major event : tree planting!! -1st april- quite enjoyed this.. went to ping hu (not sure about the name).. basically a village very far away.. split and had lunch with the different families.. then planted a few trees only.. sadly.. but dong feng laoshi said it's ok.. the kids are happy we went.. 4th major event : yanjing bible college!! -2nd april- got to talk to the bible college students there and understand more about christianity in china ba.. actually quite amazed that there are actually a lot of "christian families" in china.. others : opening and closing ceremony -24th march and 3rd april- nice interaction :) church visit -25th march- we sat through 2 sessions!! to get seats in the main hall in the 2nd service.. it's like one mad rush for service lor.. people come, people go.. i don't see much fellowship but i see their hearts to worship Him :) .encouraged.
